I like them. They're not designed for clean, but low gain/high volume can be done. They don't really do sparkling clean, but for a fat clean sound, they rock. Overdriven sounds are very good IMO, I normally run it with the gain about 3 or 4.
I've been interested in these amps too! But the lack of fx loop just makes them not an option to me. Big fan of the Blackstar range, and the Egnater tweaker looks like the dogs bollocks but I've yet to try it. ccasion14:
Personally I would go for the Blackstar ht series since it does everything I want an amp to do. Although I would never argue that its superior its just that little bit more versatility... :laughing7:
They seem too cheap for the spec, just really wonder if they`ll hang together ! I assume they have pcb mounted valves and the usual iffy manufacturing generally used in cheap chinese amps.
Thanks.

I'd have to say I've tried some very nice Chinese made guitars and amps, hell I was playing a strat copy in a local store that was just as good as any American standard. ccasion14: The craftsmanship of the Chinese workforce is impressive considering they can manufacture really high end materials and products so cheaply.
