hey so when choosing options for a jazzmaster pickguard it asks for which bridge cut you want and im not sure what the difference is between the vintage jazzmaster bridge/trem option and the tremolo or flat top mount option? does it effect the bridge you buy or idk

Decide what bridge you want to go with, then get the pickguard to match the bridge.

You can do a number of bridges on that body.   Traditional Jazz/Jag bridge, Strat trem bridge, and Floyd trem.  I think, TOM/Stopbar... will fit the traditional pickguard

so if i just wanted the standard jazzmaster bridge, what option would you use?

ok thanks

Why go with a pickguard at all? Order one with a rear route.

I'm glad you posted this though because I was just going to ask a question about the Jazzmaster. Not to hijack your thread but I was wondering what the trem routing options were. Is a Floyd available? But I see that answered above. I'm thinking of a Jazzmaster for my next build and I'm not sure if I want to go with a Floyd or do this one in a stoptail. Mmmmm, decisions decisions! One thing for sure though, I will order mine rear routed and go with a fancy top with a clear finish on it.

Anyone have opinions on the satin finish for the body? Any photo examples lying around?

It just has a classic look w/ a pickguard id say rear rout or top rout is completely prefferencial
