i was using the custom body builder when i came across the options for the input jack rout. one of the option was "top" has anyone used this? and if so what is the size of it?

Which body is this for?  I may have spoken too soon there.

Drilling a hole in the top isnt bad.  Tape everything off, start with a small bit and work up.

Please don't, you get crooked holes this way.  You can drill a pilot hole (1/16") and then drill the correct sized hole (3/8"), but don't drill any more times than you have to.

I've never had one crooked yet.  :dontknow:

A pilot hole is a small hole you drill to guide the next size of drill bit.

I know my ideas tend to be pretty silly, but why not call Warmoth and ask them what the top jack is?

Actually ask someone who knows?  That's a silly idea.

another question: since the body is 1 3/4 in thick i cant use certain jacks. any reccomended jacks to use for the top rout?
