Is it just me, or is this girl truly amazing?

I'll start by telling you that I never watch any TV shows, or TV at all, except for news and weather channels.

I were at a friend's house, eating food and drinking wine the other day - and she had her TV turned on. There was a show called "The Voice" on that night, and we didn't really bother before this girl entered the stage.

This is one of the few times I've actually cried watching a TV show. I find her voice so sore, honest and special - and it appeals to me in ways that music has never done before.

It turns out that she has studied at LIPA (Liverpool Institution of Performing Arts) which is Paul McCartney's university in England.

Well, I can't say my reaction was as dramatic as yours, but she does have a very unique voice.  Her voice reminds me of Bjork's.

I have been TV-free for 4 years now, and every once in a while, something reminds me why. The performers who act like they're having a nervous breakdown every time they sing - well, either they are, or they're not. It's a tough business - emote on cue. I can't.....
