Roger Waters kind of surprised me  :o  ..... but Wow !!

Hard to believe Roger Waters pulling in more than Taylor Swift and Bieber .. perhaps there is hope

Take That are ridiculously huge in the UK. They're a boy band from the 90s who reformed recently. It's music for your mum, all inoffensive and "nice". It just sounds like if Cliff Richard had a modern producer. The easiest of easy listening.

Back in the 90s they were more for teenage girls because of the fact that they were good looking.

I can't stand them, but being fair, they are all actually talented musicians and I'm pretty sure they write the vast majority of their own stuff.

I've never even heard of Take That.

You are so lucky!! :)
Robbie Williams has tried hard to break through in the US, but luckily he failed :)

also... wasn't Sade a one hit wonder from the 80s?

Sade had a few hits, and I'd be willing to bet a few board members were made with Sade setting the mood.

Roger Waters toured the US performing The Wall, which is where his surprise inclusion on the list comes from.  My guess is that he netted a lot less after the sidemen, promoters, truckers, roadies, gaffers, and mooches got paid.  But he still ain't likely to miss a meal.

Dr. Dre, in addition to recording and performing his own work, owns a percentage of the songwriting and thus gets royalties on many of the acts he produces, and he also has a huge licensing deal with Monster Cable, which markets his 'Beats by Dre' line of headphones.  Plus all his other business interests.

Sade's music is played all the time on a smooth Jazz radio station here in SoCal. Not my cup of tea, but apparently she's quite popular.

Elton John and Paul McCartney are the only people on that list I would listen to, aside from the occasional Adele and Michael Buble song. That's not music, it's entertainment industry drivel. :dontknow:

don't pretend that you are not the biggest bieber fan! We all know you are a loyal belieber fanclub member

Michael Buble is enormously popular in the adult-contemporary field - sings in a sort of big-band-crooner way.  Not much vinegar in his sauce, though.  I get the idea a lot of women over thirty dig him.  He's very talented, but not my thing.

There are only 2 on that list I have never heard of before  :icon_scratch:
Kenny Chesney & Toby Keith

After consulting my friend google, now I know why.
Just me .... But I just don't listen to that stuff.

The rest I thought most would know. Bummer no AC/DC

Are you sure that Fred Durst number is right? I thought it would be closer to $8.00 per hour. :headbang1:

is this what they are worth?

I am surprised about some of them...
Per Example, Jon Anderson, I always felt they had to tour so much over the past 10 years to barely keep up with the livestyles they're used to.
but maybe it's just him, and that is why he isn't in a hurry to do long tours these days.

Same about Geoff Tate, they toured every single year for the past 8 years or so... I thought they were almost broke!

Ugh... Blink 182.  It just proves people will buy anything regardless of of the overwhelming suckitude.
