I'm tired; here's a laugh from building a guitar

So, I've been waiting to build a few guitars.  I've been (not so) patiently awaiting parts, luthier work and pickups.  My Roadhouse P-90s got here Wed, and I didn't have time to install them in my Tele or this Strat hybrid I'm working on until today between work and work.  I finally got the Tele wired up, and I'm stoked.  I went to wire the Strat hybrid (fairly major undertaking for me) next.  It's Tele pickups with a 3 way switch and an on/off as well as a P-90 in the middle wired to an on/off.  When I picked it up, I realized I had to leave to go to work again.  :(

When I got home after 11, I mounted the P-90 to the body, squeezed in the bridge Tele pickup through a Strat pickguard hole, played with a few different mounting/adjustment options for the neck Tele pickup, and wired them to the 3-way.  I knew I wasn't going to finish tonight, so I figured I'd take =CB='s advice and wire the bridge ground (teehee) as well as the output jack.  I give myself plenty of lead wire with that, and tuck one wire through the body hole.

Here's where it gets funny.  I'm super, super tired... it's 11:45pm and I started work at 6am today.  As I'm trying to feed the second wire through the hole, it just keeps going and going.  Now, I've given myself probably 8 inches of wire 'cause I want to have enough to not be annoying if I switch out pickups later.  I hate feeling like I'm yanking on the solder connections when I'm mounting stuff to a Strat pickguard.  I finally yankedt he first wire out and tried to feed the second first.  It still got lost, and then so did the first when I tried it again.

Apparently, the hole between the control cavity and the output jack has a hole into one of the chambers of the chambered body.  My wires would come out covered in sawdust, lol.  I'm snaking them through with a string tomorrow.  I'm getting some sleep now, hahaha.  I was totally perplexed for a few seconds, and it was awesome.
