There's some obvious slop and even a few wrong chords in the beginning, and then... well, that lick that DeLucia hits at 3:41 makes it all worthwhile, and then chasing each other around at 5:55 - yow. Delayed gratification is the key... there's quite a growing consensus among the best players that YouTube and camera phones combine to be a pain in the ass, because they're never not broadcasting - it makes "jamming" almost impossible. But I could sit and listen to Paco DeLucia playing bad all day.
 
That's gotta be one of my favorite pieces of guitar work of all time. I think I've gone through about 7 or 8 copies of Al DiMeola's "Elegant Gypsy" album over the last 30 years or so, which has him doing that tune with Paco in the studio. "Race With Devil on Spanish Highway" is good, too. Has Jeff Beck-ish overtones. Love to see those two play together.
