The Zebrawood on this one is actually lighter than it came out in pic taken on very overcast day; did a light coat of Minwax Golden Pecan stain to make the grain pop out more and shot 12 coats of nitro on top of that:

Jack, I gotta say, that is the most beautiful Spalted maple I've ever seen.... But I did mean spalted maple with a transparent or dye on it!! :toothy11:

I came very close, but really dug the flamed black korina. 

Regarding the spalt, W is currently making me a spalt-top mahogany soloist body, but it will have a clear finish also, not dyed.

Well see, What makes me wonder is on my red Tele (who has a flamed top) In one corner of the top there's a small spalt? and it looks really cool
