I saw Alice in 1987 with Motorhead in support. One thing I will give Kane Roberts: I had front row in a theater, so the band was still 15-20 ft. away. At one point I felt a sudden and very sharp pain on the side of my neck. I looked at my friend Doug and pointed to my neck mouthing "Did a bee sting me?" Doug smirked, leaned over, and peeled a Kane Roberts pick off my neck.He kept it, too. But I had my revenge. The decapitation sequence of Alice's show covered Doug from head to toe with stage blood all down his right side. Later at a 7-11, I said loudly to him "Hurry up with your food, you know we gotta bury that guy!" The cashier looked terrified.

I saw Jeff Beck at the 9:30 in DC about 10 years ago, and I can't wait for this next one!
