Hybrid Strat body

It looks good overall and was a steal. I plan to do some work and make my own contoured heel and increase the neck access, otherwise I would have had it painted.
The only issue I have is that it looks like there was a plug put into the neck pocket. I would have called Warmoth about this, but my mail man didn't charge me import tax. I'll quit while I'm ahead.

It does not look a plug to me, look at the grain.

I had the same thing with a body I got.  I reckon there used to be a little dot sticker on the body there, probably for tracking through production or something. That's an adhesive residue.  Should come off with naphtha or acetone or maybe alcohol (the strong stuff from the hardware store, not what you get at the chemist's, which is mostly water and will raise your grain).

That's good to hear. I wasn't sure because one of the Hybrid Strat bodies at the time was listed as having a plug in the neck pocket. I was worried they mixed up the bodies.
Warmoth has again exceeded my expectations.
