Just had this forum pointed out to me by a buddy this morning.  Wow!  Great forum!!!

I just wanted to say "hi" and officially introduce myself.

My name is Steve and I've been modding guitar for about 5 years.  My recent Warmoth build was a "butterscotch/Honey" Telecaster with a vintage (tinted) Warmoth neck.  What a great neck.  I'm currently in the middle of a "Gilmour" strat build.  My next project will be a Dave Murray signature strat build.

I hope to talk to you all in the near future!

Ok ok!!  Here is a pic or two of the Tele:

She is running with Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups and a 4-way switch.  Plays great.  The neck is SUPER FAT.  :headbang:


I'll post a few of the Gilmour strat, as it is currently in progress:

I next need to shield the cavity, and route the guard for the stealth switch.........

i was just on seymourduncan.com's forum and realized you had the gilmour strat there. great thread there! i absolutely love the detailed step-by-step of a good project.

Thanks -= I love the Duncan forum.  A bunch of real good guys there.  That project is getting CLOSE to complete.  I hope to have it wired by the end of the weekend.
