Behold this unfortunate neck for sale on the 'bay:

Hand-painted (and you can tell!) Fender logo and headstock binding, and 7-8 coats of poly on a wenge '59 roundback!  A beautiful neck magically transformed into an ugly P.O.S.

like... okay... maybe paint the headstock face....

is that even what kind of wood it is? it looks like he has painted fake wood grain onto that.  :tard:
 
I like the bit he wrote about how some Les Pauls sell for up to 300,000 dollars. Obviously that means this neck is incredible.


Plus, it literally hurts my hear to see that wenge underneath that lacquer  :sad1:
 
Did he use white-out for the logo? Hideous. Good luck pal, might be a quiet holidays at that price.

You beat me to the white-out comment. I think he used it for the binding too. And he also used it on the matching body he has for sale. Must be some good stuff that dude is smokin'.

WOW......what a f-in idiot....really, who the hell puts poly on a WENGE NECK!!!! I wanted to see what the whole guitar looks like, wonder if it's as custom as that sweet a$$ neck.....I now know what I'm ordering for my new neck, maybe he'll give me the number of the "guy" who did the sweet paint job. I really, really wish you could comment on auctions. he's dreamin at that price, I don't think I'd give him 5 bucks for it.

10 coats of poly on the body and it still looks like crap......ever heard of wet sanding and buffing...guess not.
 
Reminds me of a EB EVH sig I seen on the bay. Some retard decided it needed a forearm contour. So he took a sander to a $4000 guitar and made the contour...What an asshat, and I felt so inclined to let him know what an asshat he was... :laughing7:

this guy should never touch another guitar PERIOD! Look at his other auctions and take a look at the bass he has for sale....it's "Relic'd" he clearly took sandpaper to it, I'm mean it doesn't get anymore obvious....quite funny, wonder if he "had that done" too, what a hack :laughing7: :toothy12:
