Seems kinda interesting.

No I hadn't, but then after playing with Garageband on my iPad2 for a couple of weeks, I had to go buy a MacBook Pro and after downloading GarageBand for that, I wound up having to buy Logic Express and I still haven't had enough free time to play with that and decide I have to buy Logic Pro; if you have a lot of disposable income it's a VERY slippery slope...

I'll say.  I'm trying to avoid looking at logic in any flavor right now as we're still tracking and I don't want to introduce a variable.
Just put down three tracks of background mandolin using garageband.  Why anyone would need three tracks of mandolin is beyond me - although apparently I do  :)

I played around a bit with a GB on my wifes ipad2, didn't care for it much. I'm to much of a hands on player...don't care to much for the digital... :dontknow:

Maybe an iPad dock/interface with some decent 100mm faders and a transport control would float yer boat?  :icon_scratch:

(It will probably happen soon enough if the iPad format is proven to be used by many musos for notepad work on musical ideas....)
