ok so for my last 2 builds I used EMG pickups and everything came with the pickups that I needed. anyway no problem getting those up and running

for my next build I plan on using an Air Nort in the neck and a Tone Zone in the Bridge. what other stuff do I need and what kind. POTs? compacitors? wriing? jack?

the build is a mahogany V2 hardtail.

Vol for each pickup and master tone with a 3way toggle

any help or info would be great guys.

yall rock!!! :headbang:

Try looking on Stewart MacDonald's website.  They offer wiring kits for strats, LPs, SGs, & PRS'.  I would think a basic LP or SG kit would be just what you need.  Volume & Tone Pots, Caps, Jacks, shielding, wire, knobs.  Everything you need in a single kit.  They also offer separate parts (like push/pull pots, switches, etc) if you want to do your own thing.  One stop shopping.

Good Luck

I've ordered a couple of those StewMac kits before, don't care for the quality of the pots included.... Use the parts list from the kit and get better quality parts from Warmoth!

I personally haven't had great luck with StewMac's Alpha pots either, except for the push pulls.  The tolerances were all over the place on the 500k audio taper ones I've bought, from 390k to almost 600k.  BUT the push pull ones were all almost dead on.

There's always RS guitarworks kits.  http://www.rsguitarworks.net/rsstore/index.php?cPath=31

Jack's right, get CTS pots and get them from somewhere else.  It sounds like you want almost stock Les Paul style wiring.
