Warmoth's site has a beautiful showcase of the natural masked binding option, but I'm really interested in the body finish chosen here on the J Bass. It doesn't seem like a dye as the quilt lines aren't super dark, but then most of the bursts seem to get much lighter than this in the middle. I thought perhaps it was a tobacco burst but that didn't seem right.
I stumbled upon a Jazzmaster build on Warmoth's site that looks extremely similar, and it says Honey Burst. However, when I look at the finishes catalog PDF on Warmoth site, honey burst clearly end in a much brighter red.
Anyone have any insight?
