New guy here. I'm in the process of planning out a guitar build (to do as soon as I'm done with my Tweed Deluxe amp kit) and would like to dye and finish the body wood myself. I am currently playing around with TransTint dye on some maple and would like to know what your experiences with this dye have been and also do you recommend another type of dye/stain?
I'd like to get a color like the Warmoth finished body or similar to PRS in the emerald green color.
If there are any good summaries of staining procedures, especially burst-type stain (that bengal burst looks incredible) please just point me that way...I searched but didn't see anything.
