Has anyone else heard of this Brutal Legend game that is coming out for Xbox and PS3?  It's based on heavy metal album covers, and the main character is a roadie, who's weapons are an axe and an axe (guitar).  Apparently he fights demons and stuff with the power of rock.  Lemmy, Ozzy, Jack Black, and Tim Curry are doing voices.

Been interested to see how this is,  I'll probably rent it.

Looks pretty fun, and gotta love Jack Black  :icon_thumright:

Reincarnation post!  :blob7:

My friend lent this game to me the other week. It is a 'Must Have' game. As it's kinda a free roam game, it get boring if you're not following the story missions constantly, but there is secondary missions and stuff. The story is kinda ridiculous, but that's expected from a game that has a main character that is jack black.

Horrible game.  Well, not horrible, but definitely disappointing.  The first bit of the game is a lot of fun, with the third person action and Jables' one-liners...but then it turns into a half assed RTS situation and the fun leaves the window.  It hurts saying it wasn't that good since it came from Tim Schafer, the brilliance behind Psychonauts...but damn.  It just wasn't fun.

big +1! i played through half of it. two of my friends had already played through most (one of them all) of it, and i had heard it turned into a RTS. when i started hitting those levels i stopped playing. too bad! it had real potential otherwise. so it doesn't take my number one spot in music-related-games. that spot still belongs to GTA: Vice City!

Who needs this when you have Metalocalypse?
