has anyone tried a warmoth bass body and wd neck?

i picked up a WD jazz bass neck really cheap the other day thinking id put it on a warmoth.  i measured it and all but the thickness of the heel seemed to line up, so im guessing its going to stick up really high out of the neck pocket but it will fit in.

Well if the WD you mean is WDMusic.co.uk or it's american counterpart if there is one.
I had a look at some measurements and the neck pocket for a warmoth body is 16mm deep, whilst a 4 string warmoth neck is 19mm excluding fretboard.

And the WD neck I looked at which actually  said its dimensions says it is 21mm excluding fretboard,
So it looks like it's only a extra 2mm higher than a warmoth neck.
Whether that 2mm would make a great amount of difference to if it'll work I Can't say never tried, but I'd imagine it possibly wouldn't but don't quote me on that.

im probably just going to go ahead and buy a body next month, i originally thought id put it on a squier vintage modified jazz body but it ended up being too narrow.

Sounds like that should be fine, the width of the neck is .7mm less (According to the one that had its measurements provided) than the neck pocket of a warmoth body,
I'd imagine it'd still be a tight enough fit without too much either side.

Guess in the end you could resell the wd neck or use the WD neck on something else and grab a warmoth neck in the end if needed.
