I was thinking about TV Jones filter'tron style pickups for a project.
Looking at the mounting dimensions on their website, it appears that in the neck version of their NE Filter'tron and Soapbar (p90 style) mounting options, the polepiece screws are longer than the depth of the pickup and so project below the baseplate.
If this is the case, is it necessary to drill/rout holes or channels to accomodate these projecting screws so the pickup will mount flat to the bottom of the pickup cavity?
I've tried emailing TV Jones but haven't heard anything yet, but maybe someone on here will have experience with these pickups.
