Posted this as a work in progress a while back. I was taking my time. Here's the Specs:

Warmoth Body:
Inca Silver
Fender Amer. Bridge
Warmoth Pickguard White
Seymour TB-6
Seymour Bourne 500k volume
All chrome hardware (I would prefer black but chrome looks classy with this finish

Neck:
Warmoth Pro
Canary
Ebony (Black) Fretboard
1 11/16" Nut Width
Standard thin
SS6100 (Stainless)
Sperzel
22 frets
10-16" Compound Radius
Mother Of Pearl Dots Inlay
25-1/2 in. Scale
Standard 4 Bolt

Like any Warmoth player, love the guitar to pieces, plays like a dream. Have it tuned to C Standard to attempt to replicate some bands I enjoy. Who doesn't love a single hum/one volume hardtail Strat? Aesthetically the canary is the looker on this guitar. But the ebony fretboard really makes me enjoy playing it.

That's pretty sweet! I love the minimalist approach using high-end parts and construction. Very classy.

What Cagey said.  Nice work.  I'm kinda-sorta thinking about a one-pup-one-knob job with my uber-cheapy basswood Screamin' Deals Strat body.  You've thrown gasoline on that grassfire in my head.

Wait until that Canary ages and reddens a bit. That'll make the contrast that much more eye catching. Nice build BTW.

Somehow I read Canary as Cagey and almost had a cola-related keyboard accident.  :icon_jokercolor:

TT: this build is so cool.  :icon_thumright:

I'm afraid the only color change I'm going through is a gradual graying.

Thanks for the kind words fellas. Can't get enough Warmoth. I don't know about you guys, but I also can't get enough SS frets. My guitars that don't have them just don't play as well as my Warmoths. I don't have any reason to go without them again.

That's the experience of the vast majority of users who adopt SS frets. Every once in a while you'll hear of someone being less than thrilled with them, but they're so few and far between that they're just considered outliers you toss from the data set.

For those who haven't tried them yet, the "gold" frets are much the same way, with the added benefit of matching your hardware if you happen to use gold.

Nice one Endnote, she's a looker and a dream to play I'm sure.  BTW I've got gold 6150 frets on my Warmoth Strat (on a standard thin neck) and they are fantastic. Cheers.

At first I found the pickguard too empty, but the look is growing on me. And the rest is just superb — the inca silver body is beautiful, just like the canary/ebony neck.
