my intuition tells me that a hardtail would get the most interaction between the strings and a chambered body, that a heavy tremblock would isolate the string from the body. On the other hand, I've read that the tremblock contributes to sustain.
Who can tell us from direct experince which bridge style makes the most of a chambered body?
I'm looking to put together a strat with a jazzy vibe- I'm thinking chambered mahogany or korina, flame maple cap, maple neck with rosewood. Vibrato means nothing to me, but sustain is important.
A-and it has to be beautiful.
