GW VS100 - direct fit instead of vintage 6 holes trem?

Hi all,

Just to wanted to check if I can drop GW VS100 instead of going for vintage 6 hole trem? Or I have go go down the vintage road? I was searching through this forum and saw a couple of times that it is a fit, but just wanted to be sure . . .

Wilkinson VSVG should work.  a couple members have used that and had great success. (it's a 6 pt trem)

The VS100 is a 2 point trem, so you'd need to fill & drill to get it working.

I have installed a Boogie Rail replacement for the 6 point trem and I'm quite happy with it.

Thanks good people. What about Callaham vintage s with 2 7/32 mount and string spacing? Also direct fit? And any significant difference in quality comparing to VSVG?
