Gunman in Belgium Dec 13th

It saddened me that I learned about this on the main page of wikipedia.

A 33 year old man killed 4 and wounded 124 in Liège, Belgium with a FN FAL & grenades.
I know a few members are from Belgium & at least one still lives there.
My heart goes out to those affected.

Yes, I'm fine. I actually only learned about it following CNN twitter... Liege is indeed the other side of the country (but, Belgium being the size it is, that's still just about an hour's drive). The stunning thing is how completely random this was. The guy in Norway selected his targets even if the way in which was totally deranged, but here it was just indiscriminate slaughter. The second thing that strikes me is how immediately the media profiled this guy as a gun nut with some drug- and sex related issues along with it, while in fact he was a drug dealer with a history of sexual violence who had discovered a profitable activity selling illegal weapons and hence had a complete arsenal at home. Without a doubt, this is again going to make life harder for the legit gun owners.
