This guy built one using paddle pop sticks .... Body & neck and the whole lot. Pretty bloody amazing

maybe it would sound better if he use one of those transducer thingys..... actually the guitar didn't sound half bad till he started playing. when he just let some chords ring out it sounded fine.

Wow, very cool, but I wonder what it sounds like or how it would hold up to normal usage.  I can't see it being much more than  something to cover a hole in a wall.

Nonetheless, it's pretty amazing that anyone could do that with matches...
