Grounding Humbucker Pole Pieces?

I just tried my hand at wiring up an HH Jazzcaster. I got everything working properly, everything is grounded, except a few pole pieces. The pickups are Duncan's with a grounded baseplate. Besides a few random pole pieces all other pole pieces ground properly. Something is going on so apparently the some of the screws don't contact the baseplate.

Is this a big deal? Any recommendation on how to fix it? Copper tape possibly? Thanks for the insight.

Generally speaking, pole pieces aren't grounded, except maybe inadvertently. Screws through a grounded baseplate, for instance. Humbuckers are normally silent  (or nearly so) due to their coil/magnet orientation and wiring configuration. If you're experiencing a noisy installation, it's more likely a wiring issue.

Is it a noise problem you're concerned about?

Can you freehand a wiring diagram and post?  Maybe also pics of wiring? Otherwise how bad is it? Do other guitars sound the same?  Where did you get your diagram.

Thanks guys. I'm not actually having a problem. I was just checking my wiring and noticed some pole pieces were grounded while others were not. Since some are grounded I know the base plate is properly grounded, just a few pole pieces are apparently not making contact. Maybe its wax creating a barrier. Everything on the guitar is properly grounded, so I just thought this was weird.
