The 510 has a slight curve to it that makes it ideal for carved top bodies. It also is mostly used on Angled necks(pockets).
It may place the strings too high and too much curve for the strat neck body combo. That would be my guess. I would double check with W.
If you are looking for a one piece...check these out. They specificially state they can be used on flat top models. As long at height is not an issue, I would think it would be fine for a strat. I really like the last one...Schroeder.
