Gotoh 12 striing saddles

I have  a Yamaha Pacifica 303-12 II which I had planned to sell until tonight's setup job. Somehow or other it ended up with crazy high action, likely due to some phase I was in. I dropped the action, tuned it in fourths and decided to keep it. 

The bridge appears to be the same design as Gotoh, I suspect it probably is. The Gotoh seems to share this issue anyway: While intonating, I noticed that the 2nd string on each saddle can only get so close to its twin. On the octaves it doesn't matter. But on my unisons, I can't actually get it close enough to not drive me batty. There isn't enough travel in the saddle.  Has anyone else encountered this?

Take the screw right out of the 'mini-saddle' and put it in the other hole.

Thanks. I never even noticed it. Vastly improved, not sure how I ever put up with it before, action was crazy high and intonation was ummm markedly improved by the operation. Heck, now I  really don't want to sell it, but I got a nibble already. (Wouldn't ya know it, the thing I'm least prepared to sell is the one generating interest). Now it needs some Neovins or something.
