As you guys know I've done a surgery on the shoulder 6 weeks ago and am doing now physical therapy...
So, yesterday the weather changed and it became cold and I said today to the P. Therapist "hey, today the shoulder is rusted and with a little of pain"... Just to get her answer: "Welcome to the past-surgery life, the weather change and it'll hurt"

I was, innocently, expecting this happen when I hit 40 years, but seems like it started a bit early :tard:

Posting just to people have a good laugh :laughing7:
:(

I'm not going to laugh at you, Fernando.  You're too nice of a guy for that.  The weather changes will probably make the shoulder ache for about a year, but when you get back your full range of motion and are back to full activity, I think that pain will go away.

Oh great... it has not pain a lot, but it was moving weird yesterday and today, thing it's behaving like metal now, getting tighter when cold and wider when hot, really weird...

I hear that sort of niggling when the weather changes, is common amongst people who have had sports injuries like you had, and knees, hammys, hips , backs etc.

I know my bad ankle gets a bit 'annoyed' at a lot of weather changes and will feel stiffer than usual.

Yeah, sometimes I can tell when it's going to rain because my knee starts hurting.

I'm 24.

I can tell when it's raining, because my head gets wet.
:laughing7:

Anyhow, I wish you all good, Nonsense :toothy10:, hope you get better fast :icon_thumright:

It's pretty much anyone with arthritis.  Something about pressure changes affects the joint when there's not enough padding in there, I guess.

"There's a 30% chance that it's already raining!" (Wrong crowd maybe?)

You'll get used to it, and your weather prediction ability will fascinate little kids.

Do ALL of your physiotherapy and take care of it and you'll be okay. Like a lot of us have already said, it's pretty common!

If it gets really bad, take your shoulder to Carnival for treatment.

It would work for me!

What WB said - do your exercises and don't skimp.  It might seem impossible right now, but it will get better.

and don't forget to  :occasion14:

I supposedly have a slight tear in my rotator and I didn't do the PT as recommended. I was 25 and made of steel. I will heal just like the Terminater. It didn't go exactly as planned. Now I can hardly swing a golf club. Playing a full set kills me. It sucks. Do it for all of us that didn't. Good Luck. :occasion14:

Slightly off topic, and I totally feel for you Nando. Just wanted to say that my sore hip / knee / elbow issues totally disappeared about three days after I stopped eating wheat. I think everyone should try two weeks of zero grains and see if it makes them feel amazingly better. It certainly did to me.

Good to hear it Tim, I'll eat just MEAT & POTATO, as Ian Siegal tell us to do! :laughing7:

Thanks for the support guys!! I'm doing what PT says and taking it really serious! It is very painfull, but I know it's necessary to get the neck right again and I don't alow me to scream when the PT is scretching the muscles, no matter is seems someone is nailling rail's nail on my shoulder :laughing7:

Yeah, due to a dirtbike accident (down-hill double) - I broke my right arm in three places and have a stainless steel rod and a couple of screws in there.

Mine (fourtunetly) only really smarts once or twice a year for day usually when the seasons change (fall/winter and spring/summer). I'm 38. Broke it
when I was like 28. Hopefully its gets better for ya over time!

I used to get pains in my hip joints when the weather would get damp. This was when I was a kid, around 8 to around 10 or so I think. I think I grew out of it. Keep eating Nando - maybe you'll grow out of it too. :laughing7:

seriously though, glad you're on the mend. :icon_thumright:
