God love my Warmoth guitars

You know, every time I start playing my Warmoth strats I think to myself "I'm never going to buy another production guitar again." I'll be playing with a Warmoth for a few weeks and then get a hair up my butt to pull out my Eric Clapton model Fender. As soon as I start playing that guitar I'm reminded of why Fender is one of the top guitar companies out there. I know Fender can be dodgy but dammit, this Clapton model is just a flat out nice guitar to play.

hahaha man im the same way. i pretty much only play my warmoths now days but sometime I break out one of my PRS and it is nice to have a change form time to time. and I have always really liked PRS stuff. I would NEVER give up my Warmoths tho!

I went to guitar center today and played some usa strat deluxes,  and I chuckled to myself cause my warmoths are way better!

I like the Clapton Strat too.  It's got a nice sound.

I have 4 fender bodies with 4 custom made warmoth necks, that's all I play, sometimes an Iceman I built myself. I just call them Strats and everytime I see those 4 thousand dollars E.C. master built models on ebay I feel mine are up to them (sans the highly figured necks).

I mean, even the 20,000 dls 'Special edition blackies' were built by a CBC machine, so what's the point?

Well, for what it's worth, mine isn't a Custom Shop. I bought it used for like 800 bucks.

I have an 81' G&L F-100 and a 97' Bonnie Raitt signature Strat and they both play and sound pretty good but they stay in the closet most of the time. My two Warmath Strats are my favorites for now. Till I finish my Warmoth Tele anyway. We'll see.

Yeah, right now my guitar of choice is this last build, the white Strat with the ebony board.
