Goblin Flake Dual P- possibly the most beautiful bass I own

I built this at the end of 2019 w/ my best buddy at my side, he was 4 yrs old and loves guitars and music in general.  It had a black blocked Fender neck then.  Now it has a Warmoth showcase neck that I reshaped.  I took 1/8" of thickness off, gave it a hint of an asymmetrical profile, rolled the fretboard edge (the binding was sharp), shaped the fret ends to a nice ball, and put a tru oil finish on the back.  Turned out very nice!  I have a 2 battery box on the back powering the 2 EMG pickups (PAX neck & PCSX bridge) V/V/T.

That is screaming classy!
On one hand, it looks like it would be a natural placement in the hands of Nokie Edwards during the Ventures classic era, but on the other hand, it would have hung from Mr. DeLeo from STP just fine too.

That is one extremely cool bass.
Even though it’s obviously a P-bass it also has a very unique quality to it.
Almost like a new model that Fender never released.
