Did this body ever get beyond the hopes and dreams stage at the shop? As the owner of 2 Geckos and a G4-SSB, I'd really love to get this body in guitar form.

I remember seeing something like this, guess from a W's worker...

Not sure if they have it already programmed and not listed on website or if the guy ordered the body without routings and route it for guitar... I think if you pay a extra they could route for you, if you are not used to woodworking (hint hint)

It's not officially a thing yet, but you CAN order a 7S body, and ask for it to be routed like a rear rout Strat body. The contoured heel isn't included in that case, so you WILL have to pay for that, and I don't know for sure what the upcharge is going to be, but it can be done. I would suggest just emailing in to Warmoth (sales@warmoth.com), and they should be able to get you a dollar amount.

I know I've seen a few more go through over the years since I built that one. I've seen at least one go out with P90s in it.
