Hey guys! I was wondering what kind of sound the gecko gives... I looks like the pickup positions is a bit more "bridgey" compared to a standard jazz bass for example. I can imagine the sound would be pretty percussive and "hard", like a Ken Smith or a Roscoe bass. I am right? I can`t find much soundsamples on the net, but if you have something or can link me to a nice place, that would be much appreciated!
I like a percussive sounding basses, but find many basses like this with a pretty thin D og G string. Do you think the gecko gives enough meat in the highest strings?
I have actually order a small gecko 5 with jazz bass config already
