All this talk about jazzmasters has me wanting one!!!!

I've always loved the jazzmasters and this idea in my head has me wanting one more than ever!

Alder body HxH, TOM bridge, reranch surf green, white pickguard.

CBS flame maple neck rosewood fretboard
SS6100 ftrets 16" radius reranch amber tint clear

and finally! Duncan P-Rails!

Woo!!!!!!!!!!!  :icon_jokercolor:

Definitely do it.  I can vouch for the P-Rails, have a set in one of my strats.

And, obviously, I'm a Jazzmaster supporter...  :icon_biggrin:

Finally, i'm painting my buddy's tele with ReRanch surf green right now, and it is a beautiful color.

Get a mastery bridge.

I really like TOM setups, but I am afraid to do one because of neck angle issues. Plus a TOM opens things up for a Bigsby which I personally think is the coolest looking vibrato there is.

Neck angle issues?  :( Don't discourage me.

you just need to let them know you are going get a TOM and make sure the Neck joint is right for the angles it requires

As much as I hate angled necks, I wouldn't call it 'issues' just preference. There's always recessed TOM though - I almost went that route before a showcase strat trem body showed up on sale  with pretty much everything else I was looking for.

Oh, I will they're gonna be custom orders, all the JM's in the showcase are routed for trems...

Oh man! Lake placid blue is finding it's way into my head!!!!

LPB! no contest from me. plus that combo (RW board, matching headstock) would look great with a black/white/black pickguard too if you decided it needed a costume change

Had to go with the green.  Classic.  LBP is a lovely color, but doesn't say "jazzmaster" to me.
