Thank goodness! I was agonizing over this stuff. I wanted the neck, but then that went fast. Then, I did a pile of research on how to remove Tru-Oil without wrecking binding. Hint: fuhgeddaboudit.

I'm glad it's gone for personal reasons, but I feel bad for you having to get rid of the stuff. Some beautiful parts, and I'm sure it hurt. But, it's not like nobody's making beautiful necks and bodies. You'll get a chance to recover.

Hahaha yeah, I'm surprised how fast it all sold. It's off to a good home now. Definitely sad to see it go.

I've been eyeing Stephan Carpenter's 7 string tele by ESP. Granted I'm not a big fan of EMG's, it's an easy fix and a lovely guitar.
I'm sure I'll return to do another build soon enough.

Haha sounds like we think along the same lines Cagey.

I jumped on the neck right away, have been wanting to do a tele build with 1.75" nut width for a while now. 

I passed on the body initially due to the HH routing and tru-oil finish but once the price dropped I couldn't contain myself anymore and bought that too =)

I'm planning to strip the finish and binding, install pearloid ivoroid binding on top and back, and do a 'swamp burst' finish on the top with brown and green dye..  not sure about the finish on the back/sides yet.
