SOLD!!!!!!!!!
FOR SALE: MJT Strat Body. Finished and relic'd by MJT. Three Tone Sunburst, Lightweight Alder
For sale is a beautiful MJT Strat Relic body. I bought it a few months ago, to try out the whole tremolo-strat thing, but I'm just more of a hard-tail strat guy. I've already got my one Strat, so this one's gotta go.
Really resonant of wood. Nice and lightweight piece of alder, at 3 Pounds 12 Ounces. I had it assembled with a Callaham VN Trem (also for sale - PM me), and it sounded really superb, and the weight was perfectly comfortable. Felt just right. Nice tight neck pocket too. The finish is perfect. Textbook example of a great, 60's style Three Tone Sunburst, with just the right amount of black, red, and yellow. I told MJT to do a "medium relic" job, and he nailed it. Just the right amount of wear. Really tasteful forearm wear - not too obnoxious. The checking is masterfully done.
The body is in "excellent" condition - for a relic. The only additional wear is some "legit" play wear around the belt buckle area.
If you're a trem lover, and want to build the quintessential classic 3TSB Strat, this is the body for you.
This body cost me $375 new, plus shipping.
I'm looking to get $265 Shipped.
