Now that is a thing of beauty.

Sorry, was in a hurry.

Single piece walnut, H/S/H as you can see, double battery box in the back--cuz you just never know, bridge is going to be the Gotoh Humbucker Tele bridge.

My dark rosewood on dark rosewood neck is due to arrive on Friday.

Very, very nice. Well done. How is the weight? I keep pondering walnut for a strat body. Always a good day when the brown truck stops at ones address. Please post more when it's all together.  :guitarplayer2:

UPS listed weight was 7.6 lbs, so minus a few ounces for the box and the packing?

Lets call it seven-ish.

Yeah, the one piece thing cost me an extra $100 but I have always loved the look of asymmetric grain on a tele body.

That looks really nice! I've always loved walnut. I can't wait to see how it looks finished.

Fender scale, 59 roundback, dark rose on dark rose, 1 11/16 nut, 10-16 compound, medium jumbo stainless frets.

Looks really nice. I'm glad you posed the picture with the neck in place. A future build I was considering is a rosewood laminated, walnut tele body with a 2 piece rosewood neck. (Can't even think of spending $1000 plus on a solid rosewood body!) Now I'm sure it will work and look pretty close with a nice clear gloss finish. It may not be Harrison's, but then again, I ain't George either!

Good luck with your build, I look forward to seeing it progress.
