So, I was browsing ebay and reverb for stuff.  I saw this, and thought it was amazing.  I'm not plugging for the guy, but I thought I would put it on display here.

I agree. I also wonder what possessed him to put such tiny frets on it?

Nice, but overpriced.

Depends how you view a used item. Some guys believe once an item is out of it's box should be sold for half price, I disagree. If this guitar is well taken care and lightly used (as it looks) then the price is good. It's a guitar you can't buy new.

$1358 costs a custom order Regal body + Hombre neck with similar specs as his but no "unique choice" woods. Then you have to add shipping, bridge, pots, capacitors, selector, pickups and tuners. Some people will need to add the cost of a tech too. Definitely over $1500 for a guitar with a body that doesn't look as good as the LP, IMO.

The body of my (showcase) Warmoth LP cost a little less than he is selling this guitar (emphasis on little)... With shipping and customs tax cost more!

So, for you guys who were drooling over this one, but thought it was too expensive?  It apparently did not sell, and is back at a reduced price.

I always start with a high price on Reverb, then significantly drop the price after a week or so.  It's not that I think there's a chance it will sell for that high price, it just keeps the low-ballers away and legit buyers feel good about the "price drop" tag.  Really wish it didn't have to be that way, but that's the way it goes.
