Almost done with it. Need to add strap buttons, rear cover, and finish adjusting the action. Real happy with this one. Even though, the tremolo recessed routing is off a hair. Just enough so that you can't pull up on the trem. I can't think of a good way to fix it. I don't own a router, and I don't know where to get a template. So, I may be stuck with it. :icon_scratch:

Longest part of the job, the wiring. And, it does nothing special except correct the control pot and cap values when switching from the single coils to the humbucker. Standard pickup switching Neck, Neck/Mid, Mid, Mid/Split Hum, Humbucker. Thinking about making the 3rd position a Neck + Humbucker, what do you think?

Thanks! Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Flats and a new Tom Anderson H3 in the bridge position.

why are the neck and mid pups switched?  some cool new sound?
No, cool new sounds. Its just to make the 4th position (mid SC + split Hum) hum-cancelling. It doesn't affect the sound of any other positions. I guess I could have just switched around the wiring of the humbucker to split to the outside coil. But, I already had the SC's set like that from last guitar they were in.

I figured out  last night that my Anderson H3 may have been wired wrong (from Anderson)!  By wiring it to their instructions, I was only getting one coil. Which, incidentally, sounded really good for a split humbucker. I had to figure out the wiring on my own by letting the wires hang out the guitar, trying different combinations of wire colors, to figure out which would give me series, in-phase, and which would be in-phase with the middle single coil.

I found this picture on eBay this morning that confirms my notion that my pickup was wired wrong from the manufacturer. This one is wired correctly

But, this mistake lead me to change my switching to use the split H3 humbucker in the 3rd position instead of the middle sc. It has a sound like a hot Tele bridge pickup.

I had to get the camera out last night to take some pictures for some stuff I'm selling on eBay. So, I went ahead and took some pictures of my Warmoths. So here you go, here's the Strat. The Teles are in the Tele section. Oh yeah, replace the Wilkinson with a Gotoh trem.

Do you have any sound clips of you playing the guitar? If not, can you describe the tone you get with the combinations of woods used?
