Oh wow, the thought of carved top koa/mahogany soloists reproducing like wildfire in the countryside is actually kinda appealing. Maybe i should buy a pair and turn em loose in my backyard.

Can't wait to see pics of this.  Get some close ups of the zircote fingerboard.

Its still a work in progress. I have all the parts. Hoping to get some time soon to get this finished.

I will finally be starting work on this. Should have some pics by this weekend. Apologies for the delays.  :icon_biggrin:

Yummie  :blob7:
Love the Ziricote fretboards  :icon_thumright:  I got one on my 'Flame' Strat.

What was the Quarantine all about ? ....  It's not a horse  :laughing7:
(I'm in Sydney never had a prob)

BTW I had the 2nd (by a whisker) in the Melb Cup ..... can by another body & bits now :icon_biggrin:
Could have bought 4 bodies & 4 necks if it had won .........
I've got those 2 pups in my V using SD triple shots & I can tell you they sound absolutely great together  :icon_thumright:
:rock-on:

Not sure what the deal was. All I know is that my UPS tracking page told me it was seized by customs for some type of quarantine violation. I think maybe it had to do with the cost that was declared. Talk about freaking out. Those 2 days I was a ball of stress, thinking of some guys cutting up or drilling holes in my new axe.  ???

Didn't put a bet on the cup, but did come out up by $50 on Derby day.

The body and fretboard are absolutely stunning, but I'm just not feeling the WH headstock with the soloist body..

But hey, that's just the way I am... :dontknow:

"Each man unto his own".  :icon_biggrin: I think it looks brilliant, and because its angled, I dont need any type of string tees.

SD Dimebucker neck and SD 59 bridge PUP

Isn't this backwards?  :o The Dimebucker is Seymour Duncan's (ahem) "borrowing" from the Lawrence L500XL, and that ain't a neck-position PU.
