Congratulations. I had to do a double take there when I saw thinline...then I noticed you said no F holes which were noticeable by their absence.

OK so, I'm definitely not very knowledgeable regarding Tele's, but I thought it was the F holes that made it a Thinline. Is it actually thinner than a standard model?

They are semi-hollow and have a thicker top.  Otherwise, similar if not identical.

The neck is a 22 fret Figured Mahogany w/ Rosewood with '59 profile.  Although now that I am looking at it, I wonder if the overhang + 720 mod will interfere with the slim profile chrome pickup ring I got for it...  Hhhmmm, time will tell on that front.  :dontknow:

I think it will be close, but fine - just attach the neck and check before you start drilling!

Nice thinline!  I built 2, also with no "f" hole and love them.  They look like a standard old solid body but weigh less.  Way easier to wire also as you aren't stuffing everything into that hot dog size control cavity.  Looking forward to seeing the completed project.  By the way, my BSB with the TV Jones in my signature line is one of the two.
