This is my first warmoth build.  I have done a lot of painting and refinishing but after years of looking I decided to build my dream guitar.  I decided to go with a blue dy but after fighting with how the end grain absorbed they dye, I decided to dye the back and sides black and just blue burst the front by sanding away some of the blue in the center,
I grain filled with black grain filler and then used clear filler to smooth out the top.
Final step is coating with 2k spray.  Neck was ordered about a month ago but hasnt come in yet.
Really looking forward to finishing this guitar

Update on my build.  Still waiting on my neck but the body is finished and all wired up.
Fishman Fluence modern pick ups with a 5 way super switch wired so positions 2 and 4 are vintage voiced.  2 volume 1 tone.  Tone is push pull for the high freq tilt.  Also added a kill switch because why not.

That black hardware looks great on the blue burst. I just wired up my build w/ Fishman's as well (Will Adler signatures). It was a lot of soldering with all the different voicings, lol.

It really was.  Using the 5 way super switch for the vintage voicings was the most user friendly option to me.  I cant wait to hear how it sounds.

Just finished the build and pretty happy with how it turned out.  I wish the fretboard had a more prominent flame but the necks flame looks amazing.  The neck needed very little adjustment.  I just need to do some more rounding of the fret edges.  First time working with stainless frets and filing them is definitely a little more challenging.
