I just received this roasted alder body from Warmoth yesterday to finish in vintage style Fiesta Red for shyboy999. If you want to watch it step-by-step check in on my Instagram page @greggrubaugh. I will also post progress pictures here along the way.

Curious ...

Can you do a close up of how you affixed the handle to the body?  I see the screws on the front.  Or maybe I should be asking how did you affix the handle to the body?

Also, what did you use to cover up the inserts?

I've got a build coming up and I like this handle method.  Makes sense.

Also, what did you use to cover up the inserts?

I covered the inserts with painters tape and then cut around the inserts with an Olfa Cutter.

I use regular neck screws and then a toothpick as a wedge in the body hole. You can see how they wedge tight but the toothpick is soft enough that it does not distort the hole.
