f-hole: blacken or leave bare?

Alright, I have a black korina hollow strat body that came with an f-hole.  It was a showcase piece, but the f-hole grew on me over time, so I ordered it.  I am going to do the pup and electronic routes up in conductive paint.  The question I have is:  should I blacken out the depths of the f-hole?

It would depend on the finish for me, my f-holed Tele is REALLY red, so the natural looks okay.

The finish is hard to describe.  It is like tobacco burst without the burst, if that makes any sense.  The top is a subtle flamed black korina.

On my Tobaccoburst Black Korina Tele Thinline, which is probably quite similar in finish to yours, I chose to leave it au naturale.  Of course, I went back and forth about blackening it for a bit first, so all I can say is that the right thing for you to do will come to you!
