When searching in the showcase for bodies or necks, if the all exotic woods filter is used it includes roasted woods.

Most of the roasted woods are maple, alder, ash or the like. None of these are what I or most people would categorize as exotic. They are common wood types that are roasted.

The suggestion is for the filter Roasted Woods to be added as a separate category so they or exotic woods can be searched for specifically.

I like it.  I'd also like a filter for "stuff I can ship out of the country without the feds on my back".  Kinda important these days for us non-USA types.

The problem is the exotic/domestic distinctions change based on perspective, which is unpredictable for an international supplier. Also, some woods are not unusual because of their point of origin, but because of special processing or some unusual characteristic. For example, in the Philippines, Maple would be an exotic wood, while Mahogany would not. In Hawaii, many woods are exotic while Koa is not. In the Mideast, almost all woods are exotic. In the US, Maple is not an exotic, but no matter your perspective it (and some other woods as well) may or may not be figured, and there's more than two ways figuring appears (curly, quilted, knotted, rotted, and degree of effect). Then, any woods may or may not be roasted, and finally there are those pesky import/export laws that change based on who's got a bug up their ass and how much they contribute to election campaigns. It all contributes to making categorization difficult.

Maybe clicking on the wood species field to trigger a drop-down list with several "characteristics" fields could be made to work. Probable would need to scroll as it could end up being a long list.
