Has anyone tried or do anyone own any eventide effects?
I'm curious of the timefactor.

Is it as good as people sais it is?
I have the t-rex replica now.

Got it and absolutely love it.  I've used Line6 and Yamaha delays in the past and the Eventide blows them away for clarity and detail.  Definitely get an external pedal for tap tempo though.

Eventide are one of the best when it comes to effects (and historically, outboard effects).
The 'Factor' pedals are all amazing, not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of versatility and quality.

I bought the timefactor to replace the line6 DL4, and i am pretty happy with it. AB comparison with the DL4 were very impressive in favor of the Timefactor.
The sound quality is amazing, and the possibilities endless, providing you tweak the pedal a lot. At first i couldn't really find the sounds i was looking for because of so many features. Today, i have a few presets that sound great. I am currently using it also as a chorus, and i found a way to approach the detune function of the whammy with the mod delay. i'm also using the expression pedal to switch between 100 dry sound, and 100 wet with reverse delay. You only have to find ideas and tweak a lot to make them happen.
I'd say if you want to have something that sounds great out of the box, don't buy it. but if you like to work on your sound, definately go for it.
fighting the urge to buy a pitchfactor now :p
