Does anyone know what a guitar like this would be made of (wood, neck, etc) http://www.flickr.com/photos/harry_manback/5698891955/

Well the neck's a dead give-away. Looks like maple on maple. The body is probably Alder, but there's a good chance it could be cheap basswood since it was probably made in Japan.

i'm ready for the flamefest this will probably make.

neck's maple/maple, body wood isn't important.  it's got EMGs & black paint.  pick a wood, they're all good.

The body is almost certainly alder. ESP Japan does not use "cheap basswood" (not all basswood is "cheap" and not every non-US manufacturer consists of child slave labour!), but I've yet to see them do a Strat with anything other than an alder body anyway. Almost all their MIJ bolt-on guitars are alder with very few exceptions.

It would be alder unless it's a Custom Shop model, in which case it would be whatever the customer orders.

sweet oh just wondering could i get a flame maple top on a body or whats the deal(i dont see it on the custom body maker)

You can get a flame maple laminate top on every body style. Select the core body wood and then select a laminate wood, it's that simple. Obviously it does cost more.
