Hello,
i had something to share. This very much a DIY place so..
People may be interested in Emery Sound ' s Microbaby or Superbaby. from their site ..

"rectifier tubes : 5Y3, 5AR4/GZ34, 5R4, 5V4, 5Z4
output tubes : 6L6, EL34, KT66, KT77, KT88, 5881, 6550, 6V6, EL84/6BQ5/7189 (w/Yellow Jacket adaptor,YJUNI)
preamp tubes : 12AX7, 12AT7, 12AU7, 12AY7, 5751, 6201
The Superbaby ships stock with a 5Y3 rectifier,  6L6GC or EL34 output tube,
and a selected current production 12AX7, ~ 8 watts output."

I played through one while visiting a studio in the Adirondacks region and loved it.
What I like is that I could switch tubes easily with alot of varyation without having to rebias.
Oh, and the studio cab was an ES 1x12 with a mahogany frame. It was beautiful.
On the site they have a whole bunch of user submitted tube recipes.
I settled on a set of Bugle Boys in 5Ar4, El34, and ECC83/12Ax7 and got amazing chime and warmth
Does anyone else have experience with this amp or other Emery Sound Equipment?

Those amps look really cool, so much to play with... would be a great toy.  They look really elegant too.

Yes, they do :)
I've played around with them a few times and the amps just haven't stopped interesting me.
With a purely passive EQ section too they bring out the best my guitars have to offer.
Although honestly my favorite setup thus far has been an Esquire bypassing the tone control,
into the Emery Sound bypassing the tone control..  :glasses10:
It's really unlike anything else. I like simple amps too, so it works well for me.
