Just thought I'd take the time to share my El Dégas GBS1. It's a Gibson Dreadnaught copy, and I have to say, it is amazing. It was my father's guitar that his parents bought for him used when he was around 13 (1977 ish) and it was probably ten years old then. The thing has an amazing tone, just the right warmth with a hint of brightness. It has a very comfortable soft V neck profile, and the neck is straight as an arrow. I can get better action on the thing than i can get on some of my electrics. I don't normally like copy guitars, but this is the only exception. The funny thing is that the model name, GBS1, sounds like "Gibson" spelled phonetically. The fingerboard appears to be rosewood, but I'm not sure.
