Ebony anyone?

Anyone care to identify this specific kind of ebony? They were labeled as "Dalmatian ebony" But I've never heard of such thing so I thought I'd ask.

I have also seen it called Black & White Ebony and/or Pale Moon Ebony...
I have been looking for a piece of that large enough for an Explorer top for quite some time without luck.

That was kind of my thinking all along.  :tard: It looks like the rest of your skin is falling off anyway  :dontknow:
But I'm not really worried about it, I own my own business now, before my 21st birthday so I'd say I don't really have to worry about it holding back my success, but I won't go into that.

I was just curious, because I though something like this would be awesome on a fretboard, and haven't seen anything like it previously (although apparently it's been done).

I totally commend you for doing your own thing and making an individual and unique statement. It takes a certain level of balls to show the world you're nonconformist, and I wish I had the gall to do something like that. I was guilt tripped by my mother out of getting my fraternity letters tattood on my right bicep when I was in college, and I wish I would have had the confidence to do what I want to do without the fear of having to listen to someone to whom you have to speak up for because she can't hear me from all the way back in the 1950s.
