Has anyone made a really critical review of the Dunlop Jimi Hendrix 70th Anniversary Univibe?
I've tried one but unfortunately had nothing to compare it with (such as the other Dunlop Univibe or an original UV).
My initial feelings, when using it in conjunction with the other 70th Anniversary pedals was somewhat disappointing.
I completely disliked the 70th Wah, which I felt had too much of a low-end sweep to it - but that's just me.
I plan to try the Univibe again under better conditions and maybe compare it with the Fulltone DejiVibe. I'm not sure if the 70th Univibe has any internal pots that can be tweaked or not - I know the Fulltone does.
Thoughts?

Excluding their limited production they don't seem special to me. Every clip I heard I was not impressed. They are affordable though if price is your first concern.

The Uni of my choice is the Vibe-Unit http://www.fuzzbox.com/vibe-unit Sounds great and I plan to order it someday. I had the KR Megavibe and this sounds "better" to me.

A great fuzz I have played is the Fuzz Phrase http://www.jampedals.com/fuzz-phrase/ It's germanium unlike the 70th fuzz (silicon) and one of my favorite fuzz pedals. A more affordable fuzz with germanium/silicon choice is the Black Arts Pharaoh http://proguitarshop.com/black-arts-toneworks-pharaoh-fuzz.html

Thanks for the info. The Vibe-Unit seems fairly accurate. I once had an original UV many years ago but sold it before realizing how great it was.  :(

I saw a clip with a mint Uni-Vibe recently and it sounded amazing, I've never played one in person.
I found another vibe yesterday, sounds good in the clips http://www.wah-wah.co.uk/vibe.html

I think that more than likely I'll wind up with a Fulltone Mini DejáVibe or Mini DejáVibe 2.
Does anyone have any complaints about the DejáVibe?
